Life Update

Followers will notice that I just uploaded a slew of submissions. I remembered that dA existed 
You've probably heard this from millions of other deviants but yeah my life is pretty hectic right now. I just started a two year role as a student pharmacy technician which is a full time job along with going to college once a week, so i'm pretty busy. Cosplaying has been sort of here and there, I did Rin Matsuoka (Free!), Link (Legend of Zelda), Kiba (Naruto) and Bunnymund (Rise of the Guardians) at Kitacon in April 2014, and two weeks ago I went to Sheffield Film and Comic Con and brought back She-Hulk for Lady Avengers, which was extremely popular. We had some great pictures taken, here's my personal fave:

New cosplays

So it's barely been three weeks since AyaCon but I've already got the bug to work on more cosplays! I've already bought the wig for the Dark Phoenix cosplay and am researching patterns and materials for the outfit.
I'm also planning to do a fem!Bunnymund (Rise of the Guardians) in time for Kitacon 2014, and a long term project of Nightingale armour from Skyrim. Whoop!

Ayacon Apocalyse 2013

I got back from AyaCon on Monday, and since then I haven't had much time to do anything other than real life stuff. But I've had a couple of days off, and although I'm suffering from a severe case of con flu, I think I've caught up on everything.
Basically, the con was amazing. I'm so sad that it was the last one when it was only the second Ayacon that I'd ever been to, but it definitely went out in style. I had an amazing time with all my friends, including the-infamous-padfoot, Selphie01, theablackthorn, bonhwaJP and Soo-jin.
There were loads of awesome cosplays, and I had a load of fun with mine as well! I was Vriska from Homestuck on the Friday, She-Hulk on the Saturday and Daenerys from Game of Thrones on the Sunday. Photos are being uploaded a bit at a time.
I already have plans for my next cosplays! All the guys above did amazing Rise of the Guardian cosplays so I am going to join them as Bunnymund, probably at Kitacon 2014. I'm also going to start work immediately on a Dark Phoenix cosplay for London Expo (or Comic Con as it is now referred to apparently) in November.
Now I have to go and drink some Lemsip. Bye!

daenerys cosplay

soooo i finally decided to do Daenerys Stormborn when she's in the Red Waste. i've sourced some material (curtain/upholstery stuff for the brown and fake moleskin for the skirt) and I won some suede boots on eBay for 99p (!!!!!). and my wig finally arrived today, it's very fuzzy right now.

bluh, i'm very tired rn because i did circuit training in 30 degree heat (yes, that is hot for the uk)

Hiiiiii
It's been a while, life got in the way, blah blah blah
anyway
AyaCon 2013 is happening in August and I am actually attending for once, so I thought I'd give an update on what cosplays I am working on for it
They are as follows:
- Vriska Serket (Homestuck / Pre-loss of arm and eye cause I'm lazy)
- She Hulk (Marvel / My own take on the character, mix of various interpretations of her)
- Daenerys Targaryen aka. Khaleesi (Game of Thrones / Very recent and spur of the moment decision, no idea what outfit yet)
And that's all really, I'll update with some deviations of make up tests and wig tests etc soon.
